W-2 EMPLOYMENT ADMINISTRATION Protection

One of the key benefits provided to flight departments is the elimination of the administrative and potential legal headache that accompanies the use of temporary contractors, retainers, and full-time employment placement. We provide employment compliance and certainty-of-employment with regard to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) employment tax obligations, State Income Taxes, Department of Labor (DOL), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime requirements, Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment Insurance, and more.

IRS EMPLOYEE TAX MISCLASSIFICATION PROTECTION

Use of our contract pilots and flight attendants fall into the classification of our employee for the purposes of State and Federal income tax. Misclassification of this can put your flight department at legal and financial risk, can cause issues with insurance providers, and is administratively burdensome.

Aircare crew members are W-2 employees of Aircare International. This allows Aircare to establish that we are the employer of record, so your flight department eliminates any risk of misclassification now or in the future.

CREW QUALIFICATIONS

Pilots and cabin crew qualifications

CAPTAIN QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum total flight time 5,000 hours
  • Minimum 150 hours in needed aircraft
  • As PIC, meets all FAR Part 61.58 requirements
  • Emergency Procedures Training
  • Inflight Emergency Medical, AED, BBP, and CPR Certified
  • Experience and training in corporate aviation
  • Reference checked
  • Background checked
  • Drug tested upon request

FIRST OFFICER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum total time of 3,000 hours
  • Minimum 50 hours in specified aircraft
  • As SIC, meets all FAR Part 61.55 requirements
  • Emergency Procedures Training
  • Inflight Emergency Medical, AED, BBP, and CPR Certified
  • Experience and training in corporate aviation
  • Background checked
  • Drug tested upon request
